I Read the article. Banks are of course on the band wagon to blame the mortgage brokerage community for their gross oversight of their dangerous products lines, ie. Option ARMS 100% loans, etc. I really don't care if Chase and Citicorp stop wholesale originations. I have run my mortgage company in the black for the last 25 years so these mortgage giants have nothing to show me. They are flaweded institutions. They are the ones to blame for the sad state of our economy right now and they are only com[ponding the problem by dumping all these foreclosed properties back on the market at such rediculous low prices that they are further depressing the real estate market. In my opinion these banks should fail and not be bailed out by us taxpayers.
